US12480748 - Adjustable launchers

The patent describes an adjustable target projection machine for sports shooting that features a base, a rotatable throwing unit, and an actuator for modifying the angular position of the throwing unit within various predetermined sectors. It includes a system that allows for selective reduction of the angular sector of deflection, enabling the machine to operate within multiple overlapping sectors, each measuring 60 degrees or less.
Claim 1
1 . A target throwing machine for sport shooting, comprising: a base, a throwing unit movable in rotation according to a first direction relative to the base, a throwing arm movable in rotation relative to the throwing unit, an actuator being an electric cylinder connected between the base and the throwing unit and arranged to rotate the throwing unit within an angular sector of rotational travel according to the first direction relative to the base, and a base, a throwing unit movable in rotation according to a first direction relative to the base, a throwing arm movable in rotation relative to the throwing unit, an actuator being an electric cylinder connected between the base and the throwing unit and arranged to rotate the throwing unit within an angular sector of rotational travel according to the first direction relative to the base, and a system for adjusting the angular sector of travel comprising an anchor cooperable with the actuator, the anchor being selectively engageable to limit the travel of the actuator so as to define a reduced angular sector of travel, the actuator being operable to switch between a plurality of predetermined angular sectors comprising at least a first angular sector, a second angular sector and a third angular sector, and the first angular sector, the second angular sector and the third angular sector overlapping and each being smaller than or equal to 60°.
