A hybrid firearm magazine. The hybrid firearm magazine has a first section fabricated from a sheet material and a second section molded from a plastic. The first section includes a mating edge defining one or more recesses. The second section engages the mating end of the first section with the plastic filling the recesses. The mating end has nonlinear edge. The plastic fills in around the nonlinear edge of the first section to form a joint. The interface of joint prevent movement of the first section relative to the second section along the vertical and horizontal axes of the hybrid firearm magazine. The thickness of the second section at the joint is substantially equal to the thickness of the first section. Optional retention couplers improve the strength of the joint and the resistance to movement of the first section relative to the second section.

A trigger mechanism that can be used in AR-pattern firearms has a hammer, a trigger member, a disconnector, a cam, and a “three position” safety selector having safe, standard semi-automatic, and forced reset semi-automatic positions. In the standard semi-automatic position, rearward movement of the bolt carrier causes rearward pivoting of the hammer and pivoting of the cam from a first position to a second position such that a cam lobe forces the trigger member towards the set position, but prior to reaching the set position the disconnector hook catches the hammer hook, at which time a user must manually release the trigger member to free the hammer from the disconnector to permit the hammer and trigger member to pivot to their set positions so that the user can pull the trigger member to fire the firearm. In the forced reset semi-automatic position, rearward movement of the bolt carrier causes rearward pivoting of the hammer and pivoting of the cam from the first position to the second position such that the cam lobe forces the trigger member to the set position, the safety selector preventing the disconnector hook from catching the hammer hook, at which time the user can pull the trigger member to fire the firearm without manually releasing the trigger member.

An adjusting device of a toy gun includes a contacting element, a down-pressing controlling member, an adjusting wheel, a guide groove, a driving portion, a mating portion, an adjusting screw, a positioning block, a number of positioning facets, and an elastic positioning member. The adjusting screw drives the adjusting wheel to rotate by means of the mating portion to make the guide groove of the adjusting wheel towing the driving portion of the down-pressing controlling member to pull the down-pressing controlling member downward to thereby adjust a compression degree that the down-pressing controlling member compresses the contacting element and thus adjusting an upward spinning force induced on the BB bullet. The adjusting screw uses a combination of the positioning block and the elastic positioning member to realize grade adjustment of a trajectory of the BB bullet according to the number of the positioning facets.

The present disclosure provides systems and techniques for an electromechanical sear that is implementable in a gun. The gun may include a fire control manager, and the fire control manager may identify a trigger break based on a trigger sensor, transmit, based on the trigger break, a first signal to a first actuator located in a displacement path of a sear, so as to cause the first actuator to be displaced in a first direction, and transmit, based on the trigger break, a second signal to a second actuator located in the displacement path of the sear, so as to cause the second actuator to be displaced in a second direction. The transmitting the first signal to the first actuator and the transmitting the second signal to the second actuator may cause displacement of the sear and firing of the gun.

A firearm with a slide and a frame. The slide has a slide rail. The frame has a frame rail. The frame rail interfaces with the slide rail. The frame rail has a lubrication groove and a debris removal port. The lubrication groove extends along a surface of the frame rail that bears against the slide rail during operation of the firearm. The debris removal port has gap within the frame rail proximate to an end of the lubrication groove.
