US12498195 - Steady-field coilgun methods and devices

Steady-field coilgun methods and devices based on a steady-field coil(s). The fundamental operational basis is to leave the current running in the solenoid/coil during the operation of the gun or other projectile launcher, where the field must be built up only once—initially, when turning the gun or launcher on. Then firing involves loading a bullet or other projectile in the barrel and releasing it to be accelerated by the established magnetic field. To fire again, the system loads the next bullet into the barrel and releases it again to be accelerated by the same steady magnetic field. To stop the firing, simply prevent the next bullet from loading, or load it but do not release it in the barrel. To turn off the system, simply disconnect the DC voltage driving the current in the solenoid(s)/coil(s).

A non-lethal projectile launcher toy that comprises a full-colour, high DPI, printed aggregate coating on an outer shell ( 101, 301 ); the decal coating is not limited to flat surfaces, allowing for substantially unrestricted product design, and is substantially undisturbed visual continuity when crossing part lines between discrete parts that make up the outer shell. Methods of producing the decal-coated toy gun using inkjet printing technology are also provided, allowing for high-detail and comprehensive colour range aggregate coatings that may be programmatically controlled to maximise the visual quality of the applied decal.

US12487041 - Magazine base pad

A firearm magazine base pad comprises a base pad body adapted to be removably secured to a lower end of a magazine body, the base pad body including a front portion, a rear portion, a pair of opposed side portions, and a lower portion. The lower portion of the base pad body, when viewed in a cross-sectional plane parallel to and medially of the opposed side portions and in a cross-sectional plane perpendicular to the opposed side portions and medially of the front and rear portions, is convex. The front portion of the base pad body, when viewed in a cross-sectional plane parallel to and medially of the opposed side portions, is concave.

US12487042 - Mechanical magazine

A mechanical magazine, including a casing and a mechanical driver. The casing includes an ammunition inlet, an ammunition outlet, and an ammunition passage extending from the ammunition inlet to the ammunition outlet. The mechanical driver is disposed on one side of the casing and is configured to drive ammunition pills to move from the ammunition inlet to the ammunition outlet. The mechanical driver includes a rotation disc and an energy storage unit; the rotation disc is rotationally connected to the casing to push the ammunition pills to move along the ammunition passage; the energy storage unit is disposed on the rotation disc and is subjected to elastic deformation to store or release energy when the rotation disc rotates relative to the casing; when the rotation disc rotates in a direction towards the ammunition inlet, the energy storage unit is compressed to save energy.

US12487043 - Device for disassembling a firearm

This disclosure concerns a pistol having an anti-disassembly protection device, which includes a disassembly key arranged rotatably in a frame, and which can be manually turned between an angular locking position and an angular disassembly position, and which disassembly key may occupy a transverse resting position and a transverse rotation position. The disassembly key has blocking means that cooperate with additional blocking means on the frame in order to prevent rotation of the disassembly key into the angular disassembly position when the disassembly key occupies the transverse resting position.
