The vest holds the firearm in a downward position relative to the user. A pair of securing attachments is coupled to the firearm. Each of the securing attachments facilitates securing the firearm to the anchor. The pair of securing attachments includes a first securing attachment facilitating securing the first section of the firearm to the anchor and a second securing attachment facilitating securing the center section of the firearm to the anchor.
