A portable target stand includes a base aimed to be deployed over a surface in a usage position. The base includes an elongated body, extending horizontally between a first end and a second end, opposite said first end, in said usage position, and four legs. The body includes target attaching means, configured to attach at least one target assembly thereto. The target assembly includes means for holding at least a target. Each of said legs includes a first portion, attached to said body so that is horizontally tiltable between a first folded position wherein said first portion is folded to said body, and a first extended position wherein said first portion is tilted away laterally from said body. Each of said legs further includes a second portion, attached to said first portion so that is vertically tiltable between a second folded position.

Herein disclosed is a stand that supports a targeting apparatus for targeting an object and conceals a user of the targeting apparatus from the targeted object. An elongated member has a first end that contacts a ground surface and a second end opposite the first end that has a targeting apparatus rest. A shielding screen is mounted on the elongated member. The shielding screen has an opening through which the user can view the targeted object. The opening is positioned such that a line of sight from the targeting apparatus extends through the opening while the targeting apparatus is placed on the targeting apparatus rest. In some embodiments, the shielding screen is collapsible for easy transport to a desired location for targeting activities and the shield can be deployed once at the desired location.

An underlap stabilizing stand including a holder structured to support an elongate object therein, an upper swivel, a base, a lower swivel, and a longitudinal support between the holder and the base. The holder is connected to the longitudinal support via the upper swivel and the base is connected to the longitudinal support via the lower swivel. The underlap stabilizing stand is structured to stabilize, position and aim the elongate object along x, y, and z axes of the underlap stabilizing stand.
