A layered thermite composite includes alternating layers of metal oxide and reducing metal deposited upon a substrate. A fuzzy interface layer between each metal oxide layer and reducing metal layer includes reducing metal, reducing metal oxide, and metal oxide at least partially intermixed therein. The fuzzy interface layer forms while moving between chambers in a multi-chamber deposition process which minimizes exposure of the reducing metal to oxygen while moving between chambers. The fuzzy interface layer is not expected to grow in thickness after deposition. The combination of the relative thinness of the fuzzy interface layer as well as the presence of reactants as well as reducing metal oxide maintains the sensitivity of the layered thermite structure to mechanical ignition if the structure is used within a primer.

The invention relates to an electronic device that is used to block the accessibility of a firearms Trigger. Wherein an electronic device is mounted on a rail or rail accessory and is locked in place using a lock and frame allowing the device to fit an array of firearms. The lock and frame are in place to stop easy removal unless the possessor has the key to remove them. The device its self uses a battery to operate and picks up or sends a broadcasted transmission within a programmed range by the use of a printed circuit board (PCB) capable of receiving or sending a broadcasted transmission. Once the transmission has been picked up or sent and received it activates the electronic devices locking mechanism in the form of a electromechanical mechanism causing it to shift and allows a slide placed in front of the trigger acting as a second trigger to move back and forth allowing the movement of the firearms trigger. The slide is moved back into its original position by the use of a spring driven mechanism. When the worn device or the electronic device is out of the programmed range, the electromechanical mechanism returns to its locked state stopping access to the trigger. Making the trigger locking device a beneficial reusable safety device.

A trigger guard stabilizer for a holster provides trigger guard side-to-side support. Because the trigger guard stabilizer is spring-loaded, and can be depressed into a receiving pocket, it automatically moves downward out of the way if a taller light passes over the stabilizer top during a holstering action. Once the light has passed over the stabilizer, the stabilizer springs back into a position with portions that extend on either side of the trigger guard. This helps to hold the trigger guard centered laterally in the holster, thus impeding unwanted access to the trigger.

The present invention pertains to the field of the arms industry and metallurgy, and also to the fields of materials engineering and chemical engineering. More specifically, the present invention refers to a novel ammunition cartridge comprising reinforced polymer and the manufacturing process thereof. The ammunition cartridge serves for receiving the gunpowder so that explosion can occur inside the weapon barrel. The technology proposed reduces the quantity of components to be pre-manufactured and assembly processes on the product, producing a full cartridge, directly upon injecting the thermoplastic, and can also use bi-component injection. With this, the portion of the collar ring can be made entirely of fiber-reinforced polymer material, which reduces the weight of the item and is beneficial for the useful life of the weapon in the bolt region.
